Documentary Photography & Film
Long-form visual storytelling is at the heart of Dave's practice. Whether it's a documentary photography project or a short film, Dave brings a journalist's instinct and a filmmaker's eye to subjects that matter. Currently developing his film and short film offer available for documentary commissions, collaborative productions and co-productions. Previous work includes projects with ITV Studios, Channel 5, Solo Films and 500 Films.
Drone Photography & Aerial Cinematography
Dave is a CAA qualified drone operator offering aerial photography and cinematography across Shetland and Scotland. Shetland's dramatic coastline, open moorland and working harbours make for exceptional aerial imagery for commercial campaigns, tourism content, documentary production or news coverage. Dave holds an NPORS Operator Card permitting him to work as a photographer and drone pilot on live construction sites. He is also able to draft Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for HSE purposes, making him a fully compliant and self-sufficient choice for commercial and industrial commissions.
